Manimaran Ilangovan , Disciple of Smt.Ayswaria Wariar is a noted Baroda based classical dancer. Hailed from the family of art lovers, who render support and contribution in both of his career as an “Engineer” and a “ Dancer”.

He is working as a Manager in Plant & Piping Engineering Dept at L & T Sargent & Lundy Limited., Vadodara , Gujarat. He has a special passion for dance since child hood. He has completed his Masters in Bharathanatyam at Kalai Kaviri College of fine arts affiliated to Bharadhidasan University, Tamilnadu. Also did visharad in Bharathanatyam in Ahil Bharathiya Gandharva Mahavidhyalaya, Mumbai.

He is associated with Nrityodaya School of Classical Dance, as a teacher and choreographer. He has given solo & group performances and also dance ballets at corporate shows, various festivals, temples and sabhas all over India and abroad. Manimaran Ilangovan strongly believes that for reaching this higher aesthetic level in dance, his great inspiration, his role model, is none other than his Guru. About Guru

Smt Ayswaria Wariar hails from a family of artistes. She was initiated into the art of classical dance at the tender age of 5 by her mother Smt.Sreebala Menon. Subsequently, she was trained in the two styles of Bharatanatyam and Mohiniattam under eminent Gurus such as Dr.Sucheta Bhide Chapekaer, Udyogamandal Vikraman, Kalamandalam Saraswathi; she obtained guidance in Sopana sangeetham under Padmabhushan Shri Kavalam Narayana Pannickkar. Smt. Ayswaria Wariar has made a signal contribution to increasing the awareness and appreciation of Mohiniattam outside the limited geography of the State of Kerala; She has established the Nrityodaya School of Classiscal Dance in Vadodara through which she imparts high quality training in Bharatanatyam and Mohniyattam. Smt Ayswaria Wariar is the Artistic Director of Nrityodaya Charitable Trust which is a non profit organization dedicated to preserving and promoting the Indian cultural and spiritual heritage through the medium of classical dance.

She is a recipient of the Junior Research Fellowship awarded by the Department of Culture, New Delhi. She is currently a Research Scholar, pursuing research in Mohiniyattam. Smt Ayswaria Wariar has earned a Masters in Classical Dance, from Pune University “Centre for Performing Arts”. And, is an Empanelled Artiste of the Indian Council for Cultural Relations, New Delhi
